Milwaukee Museum Days

Milwaukee Museum Days – Museums As Community Builders

Nourish your mind and soul by visiting Milwaukee’s amazing cultural institutions during Museum Days, January 19th through January 29th. For this special event, many of the city’s most fantastic museums will offer admission at rates ranging from FREE to just $15. Milwaukee Museum Days is a time to celebrate the vibrant museum and cultural community of our city. See the participating museums here and check out what Museum Days Events are happening now!

Join us for a panel discussion called “Museums as Community Builders.” Representatives from the Greater Milwaukee Committee, Visit Milwaukee, and the City of Milwaukee discuss the importance of museums and their impact. Moderated by Derek Mosley, director of Marquette University Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education.

Show your support for museums and learn more about why they are so valuable to Milwaukee.

Comments Are Welcome

Note: We moderate submissions in order to create a space for meaningful dialogue, a space where museum visitors – adults and youth –– can exchange informed, thoughtful, and relevant comments that add value to our exhibits.

Racial slurs, personal attacks, obscenity, profanity, and SHOUTING do not meet the above standard. Such comments are posted in the exhibit Hateful Speech. Commercial promotions, impersonations, and incoherent comments likewise fail to meet our goals, so will not be posted. Submissions longer than 120 words will be shortened.
