Historic Bronzeville Milwaukee (Museum Days with ABHM)

Join us for a unique experience where history and technology converge! Learn about the work of historians at Milwaukee Bronzeville Histories and the tools they’ve created to offer an interactive virtual platform designed to enrich, expand, and share the history of local African American communities.

Enjoy demonstrations of the app and website which officially launched during Bronzeville Week in August 2022. Visitors are also invited to contribute to the preservation of rich local history by sharing their stories, pictures and reflections with historian and UWM PhD Candidate, Kitonga Alexander.

Comments Are Welcome

Note: We moderate submissions in order to create a space for meaningful dialogue, a space where museum visitors – adults and youth –– can exchange informed, thoughtful, and relevant comments that add value to our exhibits.

Racial slurs, personal attacks, obscenity, profanity, and SHOUTING do not meet the above standard. Such comments are posted in the exhibit Hateful Speech. Commercial promotions, impersonations, and incoherent comments likewise fail to meet our goals, so will not be posted. Submissions longer than 120 words will be shortened.

See our full Comments Policy here.
