OHIO BLACK EXPO MAY

OHIO BLACK EXPO

Ohio Black Expo is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life, success and well-being for African-Americans in Ohio. Their initiatives focus on and address several areas that include: health, education, seniors, business, tech, and youth to name a few.

They raise funds for year-round programs and scholarships through our annual Ohio Black Expo: Riverfront Culture Fest + Convention during Memorial Day Weekend. The overall goal for their events is to empower the 1.7 million Black residents in Ohio and beyond. They target Ohio plus 4 million Black residents in surrounding states to join for empowerment through our solution-driven workshops, unifying networking events, and a celebratory festival of Black culture.

The event is finished.

Comments Are Welcome

Note: We moderate submissions in order to create a space for meaningful dialogue, a space where museum visitors – adults and youth –– can exchange informed, thoughtful, and relevant comments that add value to our exhibits.

Racial slurs, personal attacks, obscenity, profanity, and SHOUTING do not meet the above standard. Such comments are posted in the exhibit Hateful Speech. Commercial promotions, impersonations, and incoherent comments likewise fail to meet our goals, so will not be posted. Submissions longer than 120 words will be shortened.
