The 30th annual American Black Film Festival (ABFF) returns to Miami Beach from May 27–31, 2026, celebrating three decades of championing Black storytelling in film and television. This year’s milestone theme, “The Homecoming,” honors the festival’s legacy while welcoming a new generation of creators, performers, and industry leaders to one of the nation’s premier platforms for Black talent in media.

The five-day festival features film screenings, exclusive premieres, industry panels, networking opportunities, and the annual ABFF Honors celebration. New for 2026 is ABFF Sports, a dedicated programming track spotlighting the intersection of sports and media through the lens of Black creatives and athletes. As a cornerstone gathering for filmmakers, executives, and audiences alike, ABFF continues to shape culture while fostering connection, opportunity, and visibility within the entertainment industry.
