Black Arts Fest MKE 2026

Join Black Arts Fest MKE 2026, an annual celebration of African heritage and Black cultural arts taking place at Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee. This year’s theme, “Unity & Community,” highlights the power of connection, creativity, and shared experiences across generations.

The festival brings together artists, performers, educators, community organizations, and local vendors for a full day celebrating music, dance, poetry, fashion, literature, visual arts, health and wellness, cuisine, and cultural expression. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, the Essence of Style fashion design competition, the Black Arts Fest MKE Car & Bike Show, vendor markets, and activities designed for families and community members of all ages.

Black Arts Fest MKE celebrates the deep cultural roots and creative contributions of Black communities while creating space for learning, connection, and collective celebration.
