Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration: ABHM at MPL MLK Branch – Panel Discussion
ABHM will be at the Milwaukee Public Library Martin Luther King Jr. Branch for a panel discussion at 1 PM on January 19th. Libraries, Museums, and Their Critical Role in Democracy: A Panel Discussion about History, Civics, and Local Communities will feature ABHM staff. Museums, libraries, and schools all serve as critical sites of civic engagement and education. In the spirit of Dr. King’s legacy, this panel discussion considers the importance of championing democracy at the local level, featuring the critical roles of these educational institutions.
