America’s Black Holocaust Museum’s Virtual Museum invites visitors to explore history through stories, scholarship, photographs, artifacts, biographies, and educational resources that illuminate the African American experience and its enduring impact on our nation. Every visit offers opportunities to discover people, events, and perspectives that deepen our understanding of America’s past and present.

Join Dr. Fran Kaplan for an engaging guided introduction to this remarkable educational resource. As she explores the museum’s online galleries and special features, participants will discover how the Virtual Museum makes centuries of African American history accessible to learners, educators, families, and communities around the world.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Dr. Fran Kaplan is a longtime social justice educator and a founding leader of America’s Black Holocaust Museum’s Virtual Museum. She helped re-establish ABHM, has coordinated the Virtual Museum since 2010, and played a key role in republishing Dr. James Cameron’s memoir, A Time of Terror.
