Where Legacy Speaks. Where Culture Heals.
For over two decades, (POETRY) Unplugged has been more than an event—it’s been a movement. A sanctuary. A cultural heartbeat. Born in Milwaukee, raised on purpose, and rooted in truth, it has uplifted generations of voices, carved safe spaces for expression, and become a beacon for Black storytelling and survival.
This year, we honor that journey in a sacred collaboration with America’s Black Holocaust Museum—a space built to preserve, protect, and proclaim our history. This partnership is powerful and intentional: where our words meet our witness, where artistic legacy stands shoulder-to-shoulder with historical truth.
Together, we create not just an event, but a moment of reckoning, remembrance, and rebirth.
