Flavors of Africa + Diaspora Wisconsin: Gala & Competition

Celebrate the vibrant cuisines of Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean at the Flavors of Africa + Diaspora Wisconsin Gala & Competition in Milwaukee on Sunday, November 9, 2025. The VIP social hour begins at 2:00 PM, followed by the main event from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Milwaukee Athletic Club (758 N. Broadway).

Curated by Ubuntu MKE, Wisconsin’s first cross-cultural incubator lab, the gala features local chefs showcasing the unique similarities and contrasts of African, Latin American, and Caribbean culinary traditions. Guests can enjoy a tasting experience and watch the Best Chefs Wisconsin Competition.

Proceeds support scholarship funding and local nonprofits, fostering a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable food community.
