For two decades, he served as Head Griot (oral historian) at America’s Black Holocaust Museum and was mentored by its founder, Dr. James Cameron. Jackson has lectured at universities and in over fifty communities, leading workshops and dialogues on race and American history. Winner of more than twenty awards, including the Carter G. Woodson Memorial Award, he is widely respected for illuminating the roots and realities of segregation.\n
