This dynamic ethnic festival occurs each year, on the first Saturday of August, on the Summerfest grounds. Black Arts Fest MKE is packed with fun-filled festivities with exciting programming featuring Art, Education, Music, Entertainment, Poetry, Dance, Fashion, Literature, Heritage, Health, Wellness, Community, Cuisine, Vendor Markets and more. The festival strives to educate all and strengthen pride in African ancestry.\nWe are excited to bring our community together again on the Summerfest grounds with a dynamic day-party lineup, featuring Milwaukee’s best hometown talent including the popular Divine 9 Party celebrating all 9 historically black sororities and fraternities.\nThere will be exciting activities all day, starting at 12 Noon when the festival gate opens! Don’t miss the opening ceremony at 12:30pm. It’s a whole vibe!!  Stay tuned for more information on the final scheduled lineup.\nCome on out!
