DESCRIPTION:CHALE WOTE Street Art Festival is a week long festival that provides a platform the Ghana’s creatives, artist, musicians producers of immersive content to all converge on James Town and bring their creations to life. Over 200 Ghana-based and international artists take part in the CHALE WOTE Street Art Festival every August. The festival ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festival ) targets exchanges between the local and international artists and patrons by creating and appreciating art together. Each year’s festival has a unique theme binding the festivities as one. Each year’s theme brings into focus not only the eclectic nature of the festival itself, but the history of Ghanaian culture and more broadly, of the African diaspora.\nSince 2011, CHALE WOTE has included street painting, graffiti murals, photography, theater, spoken word, interactive art installations, live street performances, extreme sports, film shows, a fashion parade, a music block party, recyclable design workshops and much more.\n
